migrating windows raid to linux


hi i've recently made the big switch to linux and kicking ms to the curb. and i've switch all ware machines except for my file serve wich has a raid 5 windows soft raid. and i want to know if there's any way to switch the machine to linux without destroying the data.

p.s. the os is installed on a seperate hard drive.

if it was hardware raid, then i'd not have thought it's a problem, but as you say it's software raid in windows, i.e. a closed source implementation, no chance.
