Mandriva InstantOn

http://www2.mandriva.com/instanton/

Does anyone know if this is one of those deals where Mandrivia sells it on their website, but you can legally get it for free from another source because it is GPL'd? Or is it not under the GPL?

I'm going to take a guess, based on the number of results Google gives me that contain, "download torrent... Crack Serial Instant-On... License: ShareWare ... rapidshare download...", that the product is not free, and not GPL'd.

Someone else may have a definitive answer. But it isn't looking good.

Yeah, that was kind of the direction I was leaning.

I was thinking about buying a netbook with a touch screen (similar to iPad) and the Mandriva InstantOn looked kind of cool. Does anyone know of any other good netbook distro's? I know of Ubuntu Netbook.

I was thinking, it is probably open source, like RHEL, but it would take someone to buy the software, get the source, and recompile it, like CentOS. But I don't know for sure.
