I am looking to subscribe couple linux magainze. Does anyone has any good suggestion? Our company use linux as gate-way server, so I am interested more on server-side aspect. Would be really appreciated if someone can suggest me some good ones. By the way i live in australia.
Yes--Linux Format is very good. It is what I would call high-level consumer. For more depth--ie more of interest to programmers and admins---Look at Linux Journal.
Linux Format - Just wish there was a NO-DVD subscription option. I have broadband don't need the DVDs Linux Journal - Decent content Linux Magazine - Sys Admin - Not all Linux.. a LOT of Unix / BSD stuff as well.. every time I think of dropping this one they have a bunch of Linux articles in the next issue, that I am interested in..
I must say the one I enjoy reading the most is Linux Format. a bit pricey for a subscription here in the states, but at least I don't miss an issue on the news stand. Linux Journal would be my second choice as well.

I agree - I don't use the DVD's, they just collect dust on my shelf. I remember reading a letter in LXF not too long ago about this issue...they said that the DVD adds little cost to the magazine, though they had considered doing a DVD (and CD) free issue. Makes me wonder why the CD version is 50p cheaper if the DVD adds little cost. Even if a no DVD version was £1 cheaper it would mean £12 less over the course of the year.
