Question Linux - Internet

Hello. I was wondering if it is posible to access your linux server from outside the network like through internet if the server is located behind the router with static ip and T1 line atached to it.
Linux is sitting on privat network side and have full access to the internet and rest of network . Its a redhat 7.1 server. Someone told me once something about netcat to reverse telnet but I'm not sure how it works. If anyone has any idea how to get that to work I will really apriciate some help/ Thank you very much .

Jakub.

Maybe

Only things I can think of are:

1: Setup a VPN connection to your network. Then you could get to all of your machines.

2: Depending on what you are wanting to do, forward the necessary ports to the internal machine. i.e. If you wanted to telnet to an internal machine. you could forward port 23 to the IP of the machine you wanted to connect to.
