??Kickstart Installations??

Ok, so I think I have the kickstart procedure down, but I want to verify that I have the concept down....please read and verify for me please! Thanks!

Using the NFS method:

1 Machine which will host DHCP or BOOTP to assign an automatic ip for network boot.

1 Machine which will host the kickstart config file to use as well as the red hat installation cd info

1 Client to start the installation

After all these machines are configured correctly, I can throw the red hat installation disc one into the client and when it comes to the initial screen, type linux ks=nfsserver.whatever.com:/nfsmount/ks.cfg

once the client receives an ip, all should be good, right?

**Once again, I may be way off here, so any info would be VERY helpful!

Also, is it true that red hat automatically saves a copy of the config file in anaconda/ks.cfg directory....???

thanks a bunch!
