Old installations

How can I get previously installed versions out of Grub boot menu (old linux nonfb, 1, 2 etc)? I had to reinstall a few times and these linger in the boot menu.

You can remove those entries by editing the menu.lst file at /boot/grub.

Thanks for the help. I found them all in menu.lst but how do I delete them?

Got it. Logged as "root" and "cut" them from menu.lst. Thanks again.
