I don't see any problems with your questions being in Linux - Newbie. You have to be patient for the right member that knows the correct answer to come along and answer your questions, it is the holiday season as well, things are a little slower..
What can you do while waiting? Try researching your problem. Post any more information you feel might help solve your problem to your existing thread.. and so on.
