java plugin problem


I have Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 Enterprise Server version

my problem is unable to update mozzilla browse with java plug-in

i've installed java plug-in and enbled java plugin in mozilla web browser [ i did all steps as per documetation of install java plugin in redhat linx with our error msg]

eventhough i couldn't browse with java plugin

when browse web in mozzilla is shows java plug in is not installed

pls help me

You need to update the link in mozilla plugins to the new version.

su (to become root)
type 'ln -s /mozilla/plugins/dir /usr/lib/jre-****/plugin/i386/ns610

(obviously entering your own values for directories).
