Java's Applet making problem in Unbuntu 6.06 with 1.06 Jre

Hi,
This is my very first post. I am having some problems in Firefox using an application which asks user to input but when user inputs in the fields it does not take values until the applet window is re-opened.

Its working fine with Konqueror with the same Jre 1.06 but its not working properly in Firefox. Can any one help me to fix this?

Its a banking application designed in Java. I am accessing that application through a URL. Its making problem when the user is feeding their data in that application. The applet does not respond in the first attempt. When user re-open the page its accepts the values otherwise it do not.
