I've downloaded both programs and have them working. Is there a way to integrate thunderbird into firefox so there's an icon within firefox to open my email program?
If there is could someone please tell me the steps to do so?
The point is that they're separate, that was the reason for the split. I don't really think it's possible to add a shortcut to a program inside the bookmarks or anything.
There's an extention called External Application Buttons that *should* let you do this. Be warned that I've only really tested it with firebird 0.7, on a Windows machine. But still, it's worth a shot.
Also, get the Mozex plugin to handle mailto: links properly.
