Please!!!!Help with Firefox-Thunderbird

I've recently installed glib 2.6.1, atk 1.9.0 and pango 1.8.0. Before this installation firefox and thunderbird were working perfectly. After that, the first time i opened, some netscape agent and mozila agent opens when i tried to run the softs and never open again.

I've been trying to re-install firefox, but this error:

Lier@linux:~/Programs/firefox-installer> ./firefox-installer

(firefox-installer-bin:32113): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

(firefox-installer-bin:32113): Pango-CRITICAL **: _pango_engine_shape_shape: assertion `PANGO_IS_FONT (font)' failed

Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0)
aborting...
./firefox-installer: line 56: 32113 Aborted ./${BINNAME}-bin $@
Lier@linux:~/Programs/firefox-installer>

What can i do?????

Thanks-

To install thunderbird i just unpack the .tar.gz file, but when i tried to run the executable file into the decompressed folder nothing happens.

It's appened to me to.
The only think I can suppose is that thunderbird has trouble with GTK+2.6.

For me it's not a problem I uninstall gtk 2.6.

But this will be an interesting question to turn to moz developers.

Maybe reverting back to the old versions of that software would help.
