How to retrieve the pictures of the camera from the nokia gsm with Infrared ?
Hello,
I took pics with my nokia gsm, and would like to retrieve the pics on my linux box. Is there a KDE apps for that, to make it easy and non buggy ?
...because it has been without an answer so far I go a little off your requirement for KDE (because I don't use or even have it):
I never used IR - but I do know that you have to have the drivers (kernel) for it.
I prefer bluetooth - and if I can use it: a wired (USB-cable) connection.
gPhoto is an application that could do it too - but (as you guessed by the name) it is not a KDE application.
When using a USB-cable I can access my mobile phones pictures folder just like any other USB device - just plug it in and navigate to it...
(I have Sony Ericson K810i and before that a K750i) - pictures over the cable no problem at all - same via BT - it will be the same in KDE.
