That is one of the funniest things I have ever read.

if (!$convenience) {
echo "u can tell me the detail commmand?";
}

LOL, that will confuse him more,

heres the detailed command:

less /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt
(find what device you need
mknod /dev/(device name) b (major number) (minor number)
mknod /dev/(device name)1 b (major number) (minor number)
mknod /dev/(device name)2 b (major number) (minor number)
mknod /dev/(device name)3 b (major number) (minor number)
mkext2 /dev/(device name)1
mkext2 /dev/(device name)2
mkext2 /dev/(device name)3
ext2tune /dev/(device name)1 -J
ext2tune /dev/(device name)2 -J
ext2tune /dev/(device name)3 -J
echo /dev/(device name)1 /(were its to be mounted) ext3 rw 1 1
echo /dev/(device name)2 /(were its to be mounted) ext3 rw 1 1
echo /dev/(device name)3 /(were its to be mounted) ext3 rw 1 1

those are the detailed instructions for dealing with a new hard drive with 3 partitions on it, edit it were needed

and you still have to search,

i don't search the manuel pages either, i delet them, then go use google to get the online manuaels, i dont see any point in having a seprate command for somthing that less can handle

personaly i feel just looking at the manuel page is much easyer then searching thru the linux device file, its a real pain so you better get a early start, then by noon you can relize that your new hard drive got currupt because you did an improper shutdown,,, have fun

O and yes, here are the shutdown precedures

(if your in X press control+alt+del to begin)
lilo
cd /
echo WHY ARE YOU READING THIS! > /.right
shutdown -h 666
