How do i find out how much free space i have in red hat9?

df -h
This only shows mounted partitions, so mount them first then check.

System monitor probably gets it's info from df. There are several gui options for this, but when I want hard cold numbers, why not just fire up a terminal and type:
df -h
It shows how much is used, how much total and how much available.

see df man page .df stands for disk free.do ' df -h' .the -h option gives the output in human readable form .
