df -h
This only shows mounted partitions, so mount them first then check.

Cool

doesn't system monitor show that too??

System monitor probably gets it's info from df. There are several gui options for this, but when I want hard cold numbers, why not just fire up a terminal and type:
df -h
:) It shows how much is used, how much total and how much available.

Cool

see df man page .df stands for disk free.do ' df -h' .the -h option gives the output in human readable form .
