I discovere a 'realplay' in my usr bin. How and where do I change the settings? Thanks...

You can start the player by typing realplay.
Once the player shows up, you can go to the
View menu and then select Preferences. This
will bring up a window and let you change
some settings.

Well, I tried changing each available thing I could in preferences and realplayer sounds like an out of tune fog horn and will not play videos. I guess Windows is good for something.

Get xmms, it plays mpeg's and sounds better than realplayer for mp3's.

I have XMMS but it but it seems only to play audio. Is there more to it that I am not seeing? It is located under 'sounds'. All of the controls are for audio files.
