Cool help upgrading 4QOS to Bookworm its 4QOS is basically debian 11


can I upgrade Q4OS to Bookworm I know probably not recommended don't care going to clone hard drive so easy to go back just looking for the easiest way to upgrade want to keep KDE its ok whit me if it installs new KDE testing version any help would be greatly appreciated easy copy and paste command line would be awesome

I don't think this is reasonable. Besides using Debian repositories, Q4OS builds its own packages, and for Gemini, they're probably built against Bullseye. Combining them with Debian packages from Bookworm may create a FrankenDebian.

What you can do though is use packages from bullseye-backports.

And don't forget that Q4OS allows you to easily create custom application installers. They provide some software packaged this way.

An easy way to test out a new KDE release is installing it from a snap.

thanx for info

understand what your saying but if I really want bookworm KDE don't care if its 4QOS can't seem to find an iso what's easiest way to install

thanx for the info I like Debian OS not really a fan of their websites I seem to get lost
