Question help me regarding addition of 20 GB NFS space in Linux server


Hi Friends,
Kindly help me regarding addition of 20 GB NFS space in Linux server. What are the commands and procedure for this. Means how to mount the space in linux server ? NFS space has been provided for this server but i m not able to attach this allocated space to linux server without rebooting the server.
Please help.

Are you getting errors or do you just not know how to mount it?

To mount it manualy try:

Code:
# mount -t nfs <nfsserver_ipaddress>:/your/nfs/share/on/nfs/server /mnt/your/nfs/mount
or in fstab
<nfsserver_ipaddress>:/your/nfs/share/on/nfs/server /mnt/your/nfs/mount nfs <options here> 0 0

now just
Code:
# mount -a -t nfs
If you are getting errors, make sure the box on wich you are trying to mount the nfs share has nfs support.
