You should just be able to mount the floppy under Linux and copy the file onto it, then unmount it again. What have you tried so far and what bit did you get stuck on?

cheers

If you mean that the text file looks odd then it is to do with the difference between dos and unix newline characters. Try using NoteTab Lite in windows:
http://www.notetab.com

or use the dos2unix and unix2dos commands on linux.

I have answer now -thanks for help

Hi all thanks for tips,

I have my answer. I use linuxconf to change the drive to MSDOS so I can write to MSDOS floppy in Linux.

Only thing is I have heard that there is a security issue with linuxconf I think. Has anyone heard about this?

Cheers Paul.
