Firmware is not ssd?

Hi

On the powerpc:
Code:
# uname -a
 uname -a
Linux storage 2.4.22-uc0 #959 Fri Nov 13 03:44:07 CST 2009 ppc unknown
# uname -o
GNU/Linux
I'm getting these messages:
Code:
Dec 30 19:08:55 syno_hdd_util: Model:[SAMSUNG HD400LD], Firmware:[WQ100-14], S/N:[S0XYJ1EP309865] in [/dev/hda] is not ssd
What's wrong?

The way I read it, the message reads this way:
Code:
Dec 30 19:08:55 syno_hdd_util:
     Model:[SAMSUNG HD400LD],
     Firmware:[WQ100-14],
     S/N:[S0XYJ1EP309865]
     in [/dev/hda] is not ssd
it seems it is saying that the device is not an SSD (Solid-State Drive)

What is the context of this message (where and how did it appear)?

What is the Samsung HD400LD? e.g. is it your internal HD, external HD, etc.?

Is your machine working OK?----If so, then I would ignore this message.

Either way, the next step would be to research what is "syno_hdd_util"
