Find-function for menu entries in KDE 3?

Hi there

KDE 4 has this function where you can search through all the menu entries.

Since I am not risking my productive system on going to KDE 4 right at this moment (untested on a test system = unwise on a production system), I'm looking for a similar function under KDE 3. I have half a million entries, some gnome programs that have their own menu etc and often find myself at a loss to find something.

Markus

P.S. I have heard though that KDE 4 is now pretty stable and ready for general use. So after proper testing, I will give it a whirl.

I'm running KDE 3.5.10 on OpenSuse 11.1 and I have the search bar in the main menu (see screenshot). I don't know if it is a KDE feature or a Opensuse customization, anyway.

Well, it seems to be SuSE, since this is a nonstandard KDE 3.5 layout, never seen it before.

But thanks anyway.
