file systems (ext3, Reiser's)

I am wondering about the pros and cons of different file-systems. Are there any performance benefits to ext3 or Reiser's on a typical workstation? More efficient disk usage? (compared to ext2)

All I know is it could make restoring a large drive(s) (in the TB range) much faster? Are there other benefits?

Thanks

I found this: http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue55/florido.html - its a complete document ab out journaling file systems.

I heard that people found ReiserFS a little faster than ext2/3, but its not noticeable..

Well I use Reiserfs and benchmarking tools have shown that there is a significant improvement over ext3.But of course most people will not notice the difference.(Coz the significant improvement I am saying will be noticable only after a long use, such as kernel compile).
What I like about reiserfs is also the journal recovery,it is absolutely fast.
(anyway if you want to know the differences between the two -search for reiserfs in this forum)
