dumb terminal,

Hi,

I use Damn Small Linux to ssh to UNIX server at work and edit programs etc. After connection, I get the warning
tcsh: using dumb terminal settings.

When I try to use pico I get the following response
Sorry, I don't know anything about your "rxvt" terminal.

Can I use some other terminal (myDSL) or make any change in my .bashrc file to bypass this issue? Any other suggestions are welcome..

No problem. My guess is that the 'termcap' file on your server does not recognize rxvt, but does recognize xterm (much more common). rxvt, as far as I know, should support everything xterm does.
