dual booting red hat 7.3 with windows 2000 pro


Dear Community,

After all this time i finally was able ot install red hat 7.3 correctly I can see the message clearly in the video test so that means it was a perfect install the only thing is now how can i dual boot my system. I have red hat installed on my first partition sector of my hard drive windows 2000 pro is using half and rh 7.3 the other. Is there some way of dual booting or accessing my linu partition I tried using a boot floppy but it said botting failed is there another way? your help will be greatly appreciated because right now all i can access is my windows partition

See my problems is this how can i get access ot the furst secor of my hard drive so i can copy the linux.bs file if i can't access my linux partition the boot disk doesn't work and i would really appreciate it if someone can help me please.

As for what i have running at the moment it is windows 2000 pro

You can boot in rescue mode with the first RH cd. linux rescue from the boot prompt I believe. Then you can get the Linux boot sector file you need to use the ntloader. That works pretty slick, I did that for quite a while.
