Dual Boot Win2000 & RedHat 7.2

Can someone please tell me how to dual boot Win2000 and Redhat...during the Redhat installation I told it not to load a boot loader..instead I created a boot disk..so everytime I want to run linux I have to boot up with my disk...I tried adding the line c:\bootsect.lnx in boot.ini but nothing happens when I select the Linux option...

btw I created the bootsect.lnx (the first 512 bytes of my linux partition...)

Please help...someone please take me through this step by step...

might want to take a look there then come back for specific questions. Also browse this forum as this question is asked all the time.
