Does Anyone Have Ahci Sata Hard Drive Working Under Red Hat 2.4.29 ???

Im bored of surfing forums with no solution to this. It seems an utopia.

My system is P4, asus mobo intel ichr6 southbridge for sata, ide bootdisk for xp and linux and sata datadisk as slave. In the xconfig enabled scsi emulation for sata and ahci as module, and i think the kernel has libata built in. What is the how-to to do this work??

any idea is welcome

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
