Actually mate it's not . The official announcement was on May 1st, 2007 according to my source. Just to be clear, the difference between the two, one being rumor and speculation be it educated vs. an official announcement. Source EWeek Reporting May 7, 2007 VOL. 24 NO. 16 Page 14

Ps Just to be totally specific Dell still hasn't officially annouced anything per there web site press section. The announcement came from Canonical on May 1st, 2007. So nothing is over until the fat lady officially sings. Just the facts mam.

How about you posting news in the actual NEWS forum we have, instead of in the forum where we reserve technical questions to reside in. Closing this thread, post News in the more appropiate forum next time. And if you do post news, perhaps a link or URL is suitable, instead of a one liner without details.
