cut and paste. argh!

Does anybody know how to get better cut and paste under linux?! I'm running KDE on RH 7.2 and lack of decent support is killing me. Many applications (such as Konsole) barely support, and others that do only work half the time. WIth all the time lost i'm near ready to ditch linux as my main workstation os!

Well I dunno what's wrong w/ my installation then! Cut and paste works sometimes, sometimes it's just gone. This has been my experience w/ redhat ever since 5.0.

well, it's generally only on lower level progs, as they have much better integration into the OS, as opposed to netscfape which genreally ignores all the things available to it to do things nicely.

Cut-n-paste from any app (including a term window) works fine for me when pasting into Netscape 4.77.

Mine too.

I use Mozilla or netscape 6.2 and they work great.

when I'm in kde it works with konq and kfile.

staroffice has got the click to autoscroll feature that is cool.

I think the driver IMPS is what makes a big difference.
