Ctrl-Alt-Esc keys


Is there anything wrong with using the Ctrl-Alt-Esc keys kill programs.

that is the point of them keys is it not? i mean the only point of doing it is if a program crashes, i don't see why you would do it to shutdown every program you open...

I am asking because a few months back i asked the same question and got multiple answers back none said use ctrl-alt-esc. Then i was stuck in a program and couldn't get out so i started punching keys when i hit ctrl-alt esc i got a skull and crossbone then i clicked it on the program that crashed and poof it was gone. Im sure there are alot of newbies that aren't aware of this so thats really why i posted it.

yes it is the same as typing xkill in the terminal and you will get the same cursor to click the program to close...
