chpasswd to change password in script ,may be syntex error ,
according to man page filename contains user

asswords but not functioning. please help

#chpasswd filename

i assigned user administrator of a group named linux
user set the password of group linux
$gpasswd linux
123456
123456
password updated successfully.

but when a another user change his group using
$newgrp linux
password:123456

getting error.

how to resolve this ,
