can anyone tell me how to check for disk error in my linux partition ext3.
what is the command that i can run to check for bad sector. and summaries the result whether the is a badsector or none badsector on my ext3 partition include the swap partition.?
However, the partition must be either unmounted OR remounted in RO mode. Easiest way I know of is to simply boot into rescue mode or use a LiveCD to do the checks.
