It's a matter of taste. And you may even want to look at
k3b (whichis a KDE program). There's gtoaster, eroaster,
xcdroast ...
But to be REALLY happy you should learn how to use
mksiofs, cdrecord and cdrdao ;) That way you're completely
independent of graphical desktops ...

All the other things do is a (more or less succesful)
graphical interface to the tools mentioned above.

Cheers,
Tink

i try to work whith cdrdao but my problem is whith the cd-r.
My cd-r is ide and connected on second ide bus as master.
I try to test the medium but cdrdao cant find my device and look for a scsi
So cdrdao (and cdrecord) support ide drives ?

You need to enable SCSI emulation, cdrecord requires it, and all gui cd burner programs have cdrecord as a back end.

/me recommends using the search

It's a very helpful feature, and keeps
noise and repetitions low (or it would
if people cared to use it) ... :)
