Can I play Half-Life on Slackware Linux?

I recently setup an old Penteum 266 running Slackware Linux to run as a REAL server out of my house! It has PHP and everything! I like Slackware so much that I want to install it on one of my "beefyer" computers, an AMD 650. My Q is, will I be able to play Half-Life on this computer after I install Linux? I want to be able to play TFC. Also, I have a DVD burner in that computer as well, will I still be able to use it?

yes to both.

You have to run Half-Life via WINE, but its pretty easy to do. There is a How-To, just google "WINE Half life How-To"

And there is some support for DVD-RW, so you should be good.
