b43-fw cutter

This is a two part question
1. If one downloads a distro (dreamlinux) and one is not on line and is wireless otherwise how does one install via terminal.
2. What is code and finally can one go to his Ubuntu terminal and do it there.
Been on Linux long time, but wireless is a new experience and at my age change is not easy

You can use terminal to install 'b43-fw cutter' but you will need a source. If your distro is on a dvd the application maybe there but if you have a cd then probably not. If wireless is all that you have then you need a way to download the application.

Excuse the age comprehension challenge Larry, but do stay with me as I attempt what
for me is not walk in park. Fairly convinced I burned a verified ISO and installed from the live CD.
Are you saying what I need is on the live CD and if so how do I access. Please advise and thanks for
your input

No I do not think it will be on the cd.

Let me do some research, I may have to download the cd.

Which version of dreamlinux is it? 3.5?

By the way I am 68 yrs old
