Most likely if you want to actually recieve the signal instead of some streaming station off the net, you would need an actual sound card that can tune and pick up radio signals, etc.

I have had good results with the realplayer for linux
Bunch of free stations available, relatively easy to configure, and FREE!!!
just make sure you install the rv9 codecs / plugins
