chr15t0 Member Registered: Jun 2002 Location: London Distribution: Slackware Posts: 201 Rep:	Allegro sound support on Slackware I'm having probs setting up sound on a slack box. I have a ESS Technology ES1988 Allegro-1 audio controller and I've compiled Allegro support into my kernel. When I mpg123 file.mp3 it seems to work, but the sound is barely audiable on full vol.. I mean I can just about hear it if I put my ear right next to the computer (laptop).. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here? christo
