All X11 cursor themes have a greyish tint

Up until yesterday, I've used a black cursor. When I tried the whiteglass, among other cursor themes, they all have a greyish tint to them. White cursors are a light grey, blue cursors are an ugly darker blue. I don't know if it has something to do with my KDE/Qt theme or what. Anybody have any ideas?
