a Bizarre problem seemed to be.....


I am using RH8 ,when I open my RH package manager and after it finish its initial process, the dialogue box will dispear automatically no matter how times I try for timesor even I restart my box,who can explained this phenomenon?? please tell me thank.

That "bizarre" error is a known issue of the Red Hat config-packages utility.

I personally go around this using the "GnoRPM" package manager, since all attempts made to repair phyton scripts didn't fix the issue.
