well, you go to the options menu of the game in question, and if its set at miles blah-blah sound system, switch it to something else and see if that helps.
strange when i changed the keybindings it it took them but when i changed the audio setting to creative eax it hung and when i started it again it was back to the miles thing i will have a look at the permissions when i get home
i tried all 3 eax settings and all of them caused a freeze. sorry im being a pain. i dont know as much as i should about this OS but im getting there slowly
i am not 100% sure i have xine on my system and it seems to work with oss but it freezes now and then .... thats another issue lol the card i have is a sb live 5.1 or and audigy i dont remember wich does that help?
i checked and set the permissions to 777 on all the subfolders and files and it still wont take the change. i can change the khz but if i change the audio provider it hangs. is there something i have to put in my wine config file?
