Anyone here knows if the Demo version of Quake 4 has Linux support in the massive 300+Mb .zip archive? or if it could be possible to run it with the Linux point-release binaries?
This question has held my finger from hitting the download link (and yes, even though I could run it through Cedega, I'd rather have a native client, thank you!)
The current version of the demo doesn't contain a Linux binary (not really surprising), and the Linux PR Binaries will not work (you shouldn't have expected it to).
Good luck running it through Cedega. Or wait a little more time to see if they release a Linux version of the demo (or just purchase the game).
