Quake 3 openGL


when i start quake 3 it changes the resolution and everything but then freezes there... when i started the game in terminal i got an error message saying "ERROR: openGL bus" something

Please give us the exact error. What's the output of glxinfo?

We're going to need more information.

What distribution?
What type of video card?
Drivers installed?
Latest Version of Q3?
Xorg or Xfree?
Does "glxgears" work?
