Quake 3 Arena Freezes when switching to Team Arena

Hello all,

I have an issue where Quake 3 Arena will completely freeze when I switch it over to Team Arena. I have followed the instructions to get Team Arena working.. and I have had it working in the past.. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here. I have been fiddling around with alsa, but I went back to oss for the simple fact that it is more stable (in my experience anyways).

So Quake 3 works fine until I try to load up Team Arena. Any ideas?

Hmmm, now quake 3 freezes when I start a single player game.. the arena loads up, and im in first person view, but it locks up right when it says the bot has joined the game..

i have to ctrl+alt+f1 out of it and restart x to get away from it.

enemy territory works fine however. all suggestions appreciated.

2. do you have any other q3 powered games?
