I have a lan set up with a crossover cable. When I try to get Quake 3 to join my host over the lan (192.168.0.1) it says "CLIENT_UNKNOWN_TO_AUTH" and if I let it sit at that screen it just sits there. It will not join. These are using two different CD keys.
I tried disabling Punk Buster but Quake 3 will not let me it gives some error about Punk Buster must be enabled on the server when I try to load up a map. I am running the latest version of Punk Buster.
