Angry HLDS on Debian keeps crashing!

Im kinda new to linux. Ive learned a lot since i started, but i just can not figure out this problem. I'm running Debian and HLDS 3111. The server is still running on WON and will keep doing so until WON gets shut down. After several hours I go to ym server and see its down. When i check the console, i see Segmentation Fault and then the command prompt. Sometimes it lasts 9 hours, sometimes 2 days, but it happens alot! Any ideas?

Hmmmmm...... segmentation fault, eh? Is there anything else associated with the segmentation fault? Any other apps that lock up (shouldn't be, but you never know). If you DLed the HLDS executable then you may have ended up with a corrupt copy (again, this is rare, but we should rule it out first). Try re-DLing the HLDS.exe file, and then try running the server again.

Do you have any add on-s running, like metamod, admin-mod or any plugins?

nothing locks up, i go to gamespy and see my server is down...i go to the computer and it says Segmentation Fault and im back at the command line.

Im not sure its the download as the server fires up and runs for several hours, but since it isnt any trouble to do this, ill redownload and try again. Im running debian without a GUI installed, so i setup samba to allow me to configure files from my windows box.

Im running admin-mod (meatmod too), fox bot, and hook mod. I made sure to change bot protection to 1 in the admin mod config file. The server runs just fine through several maps which is why thsi is confusing to me. Could it have anyhting to do with me being logged in on the other console?

Nope.. seperate memory, seperate processes (As it should be) so multiple log ons shouldn't matter. HLDS by itself is rock solid. The plugins like admin-mod and meta-mod sometimes have bugs that cause problems. www.csreloaded.com (my current hang-out) had an issue where the server would crash and restart every 4th map, but this turned out to be an issue with Admin-mod, not with half-life. Try running HLDS bare for a while (i.e. remove all of your add on stuff) and see if you still have issues. If you don't then one of the add-ons is to blame. Make sure you have the newest versions, and selectively run the addons and test them to see if you can pinpoint the culprit.
