HereticII ; No WINE(X) please...

Here I have this question :
I have the boxed Windows-version of HereticII , and I was wondering , if there are patches out there to run that one directly under Linux.

Wine and WineX are a pain , I'd like to do without.
And I don't like paying twice for the same game.
Dual-booting Windows is (IMO) no option either.(I'd like to keep my comp clean...)

Related question : I have a cartload of other Windows-games , I'd like to play again .
Does ayone know of any Win-Linux-Patches out there and for what games? (I'd also love to be playing "Queen ; The Eye" again , amongst others)

You can try to download the loki patches for the linux version, but unfortunately they are packaged in that blasted braindead loki installer, if it still runs, i think i had problems with them last time i ran heretic.

try
ftp://ftp.lokigames.com/pub/updates

IMO stick with the windows version at least the installer will still work next year
