I was curious if anyone knows about the following two games (if they work in wine/Linux):
1) JumpStart World Kindergarten
This looks like a great game, with lots of control/input/supervision offered for parents. appdb.winehq.org shows two other JumpStart titles, but not this one. One is described as "runs very well," but the test results list it as "Garbage." The other was said to run immediately.
I have sent a letter to the company asking about Linux. If they respond as quickly as Disney did...oh, wait. Disney never responded about their game.
2) Adventure Workshop: Preschool-1st Grade
This also looks to be a neat pack of educational games. I can't find any information on Linux compatibility.
I've searched the forums here, and did a few brief Google searches (maybe 15-30 mins worth). I hope somebody here has some experience trying these, or perhaps other comparable programs.
Why do game designers assume Linux geeks don't have kids?
Thanks!
Matt
