Has anyone managed to play enermy territory with a modem?? The furtherist I got was connecting and everything but then I tried to play but I couldnīt even hardly move because of the connection.
Is is possible to play with a modem?? After all it does have in the options for connections modem??
Hey SuperCoolAl I tried lots but lots said that they only allowed fast ping connections... have you played with a modem?? I just know I played unreal tournament (In Windows) over the 56.6k modem and it went perfectly smootly.
If you really plan on playing FPS, I doubt you are going to get much out of a 56k modem. Often times, as you said, servers will have high pings blocked, you might want to try looking into other games, mainly where such a quick slowdown, wouldn't cause such a problem. Warcraft And Starcraft come to mind as those were both games I played often online with a modem. Good luck/
Hey GT_Onizuka I agree maby I will have to look elsewhere for games to play over my modem... but there must be some serious bandwidth wastage going on or somthing, because I played unreal tournament (in windows anyway) over the modem and it work pretty much flawlessly
Hey GT_Onizuka I highly doubt it I have played it a few times and the only problem I had was it took ages to download the levels when I didnīt have them locally.
Hey LavaDevil94 that game looks WICKED BUT it also looks like its only for windows
