Hi, just used Cedega for the first time, worked great. But at some point I started getting Error=21 's when trying to start games i did'nt install to my $Home/.transgaming.
In the end I discovered the problem was that I was trying to run the programs of a mounted fat32 fs (mounted as !vfat!).
The vfat fs seamed to be the problem, if I just mounted the partition with "mount -t auto /dev/hda5 /mnt/temp" Cedega would work...
looked all around the net yesterday and only found problem solvers concerning "shutting down proline". But since I run Slackware (10.0), Proline is'nt installed, it just does'nt come with the disrto!
Well hope this helps someone. Just edit your fstab and change the filesystem(fs) of the partition your wanting to run Something of with Cedega from "vfat" to "auto". Pretty wierd since the kernell detects it as vfat again, but worked for me
-Example-
From
/dev/hda1 /mnt/WinXP vfat defaults,user,users 1 0
To
/dev/hda1 /mnt/WinXP auto defaults,user,users 1 0
Grs SRKI(Linux
)
ps adding rw,umask=000 seems to work often too!
example:
/dev/hda1 /mnt/WinXP auto defaults,user,users,rw,umask=000 1 0
