package which provides the host command

In my BLFS system, I typed host to get the direct IP of a web site that was being difficult. Imagine my surprise to see that I have no host command on my system.

Time to fetch and compile the host package, right?

Googled and could not find it. I'm going to guess that the host command is part of some other package whose name is not intuitively related to "host".

Does anyone know what package provides this command? If so, could you tell me its name? Thank you.

Looks like it is the "bind" package.

edit: confirmed, yes.

p.s. And it's mentioned in the BLFS 8 book: d'oh!
