Is it safe to delete /bin/sh to ensure compliance LFS manual?

My link goes to dash instead of bash and the linux from scratch manual says it should go to bash. If I # rm /bin/sh (which is nonempty) then I will lose whatever data is in there. However, by removing /bin/sh I can then do # ln -s /bin/bash /bin/sh to make the symbolic link suggested by the manual. Thus, Is it safe to delete /bin/sh to ensure compliance LFS manual?.
I started this thread here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...on-4175464621/
but I marked the other one solved and moved it here.

Yes you can delete the /bin/sh link and create a new one that points to /bin/bash (as explained in the other thread).

@TobiSGD My apology, I didn't know how to move the thread and to close the other thread I marked it as solved which seemed the best way to end the previous thread. On the other hand, I provided the link for anybody interested in continuing. Since the discussion seemed to be more LFS specific I continued the topic here ... it seemed the best thing to do (I didn't know I had to report the thread to move the thread)!? Again, my sincere apology if I performed some sort of forum faux pas.
